An employee at a meatpacking plant in Gorina, La Plata, died on Wednesday night while on the job. The 53-year-old man, identified as Sergio Paruchevki, was found unconscious by a coworker in the deboning area. Despite immediate cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) performed by a nurse on-site, the efforts were unsuccessful. An ambulance from SUMSA (Unit 65) arrived minutes later and confirmed the death at the scene. La Plata's Prosecutor's Office No. 7, led by Virginia Bravo, has ordered the work area to be preserved and is conducting a thorough investigation to determine the exact cause of death. While a death from natural causes due to sudden illness is being considered as the primary hypothesis, other possibilities have not been ruled out pending the results of an autopsy. The Scientific Police worked at the plant overnight and confirmed there are no private cameras in the area where the incident occurred. The case has been filed as 'Investigation of Death Causes' and is also being handled by Guarantees Court No. 6.
